The Eanes Education Foundation (EEF) is a nonprofit centered on raising money for the Eanes Independent School District (ISD). The goal of the EEF is to diminish the gap between what the state provides the district with the funds that are necessary to have the best education system in not only the Austin area but in Texas as well.
Every year, the Eanes Education Foundation hosts a gala with a great auction in order to help raise funds necessary for the schools. The most recent gala was held on February 22 at the Omni Barton Creek Resort and had auction items like a seven-day/seven-night retreat in the Rocky Mountains, a golf experience for three golfers at the exclusive Congressional Country Club, and a five-night stay in Turks and Caicos.
The gala and the generous donations by sponsors and community members continue to help the students and staff of the Eanes ISD. In fact, 51 positions for the 2019-2020 school year have been funded by the EEF. Those 51 staff members make over 400 teacher positions that the EEF has helped pay for. The EEF is the only organization that can fund additional teacher and staff positions for the district.
Wherever there’s a need to improve the education, staffing, and classrooms of the schools in the Eanes ISD, the Eanes Education Foundation is there to step up and lend a helping hand. Every donation stays within the district and goes towards the betterment of the local education system in some way.
Donations are accepted all year long and are crucial to meeting the staffing needs of the Eanes ISD. To make a one-time donation, click here, and to set up a monthly donation, click here. There are a ton of ways to donate, so be sure to check out the EEF website for yourself.
