Westlake High School is Eanes ISD’s high school campus and one of the biggest reasons buyers target Westlake. It’s rare to find a district where the elementary, middle, and high schools are all so highly rated, many areas have strong elementary options but the rankings drop off later.
Westlake is known for strong academics, standout athletics and fine arts, and a culture that encourages students to do their best. Families consistently mention that the teachers are supportive, organized, and genuinely invested in their students. Many even attended Eanes themselves and loved it enough to come back and teach.

Hill Country Middle School is one of two middle schools in Eanes ISD, serving families across Westlake and nearby areas. It is closer in to town and right in the heart of Westlake. It is an older campus but still very highly sought after. The houses that fee into Hill Country are the closer in neighborhoods like Rollingwood, Westwood, West Lake Hills and Davenport.

It is an older campus but still very highly sought after. The houses that fee into Hill Country are the closer in neighborhoods like Rollingwood, Westwood, West Lake Hills and Davenport.
Barton Creek Elementary is a highly sought-after Eanes elementary school for families buying in Westlake and the surrounding areas. This school is the furthest west of all of the elementary schools. Valley View was recently shut down, and those kids now go to Barton Creek.
Bridge Point Elementary serves part of Eanes ISD and is popular with buyers moving to Westlake Austin for schools, lifestyle, and access to town. Bridge Point Elementary is close to the 360 bridge and Lake Austin. It serves homes in Rob Roy, Davenport, Lake Austin and off of the High Road.
Cedar Creek Elementary is one of Eanes ISD’s five elementary schools and is known for a strong community feel. Cedar Creek Elementary is super close to downtown and very close to Hill Country Middle School. Many that live off of Walsh Tarlton in Bee Caves Woods and Rolling Hills can walk to school.
Eanes Elementary is a core campus in Eanes ISD and a common target for families searching for homes for sale in Eanes ISD. Eanes Elementary is the oldest campus in the district and have the most character and is one of the most beloved schools. It has outdoor hallways and a beautiful campus. There have been talks of possibly closing it, so reach out for more information and an update. This school serves close-in neighborhoods like Rollingwood, Westwood, Sundown Parkway, and West Lake Hills.
Forest Trail Elementary is another key Eanes ISD elementary campus. This elementary school is conveniently located just off of 360 and near Westlake High School. Lost Creek, Camelot, and some neighborhoods on the west side of 360 feed into this school.
Valley View Elementary School in Eanes ISD closed at the end of the 2024–2025 school year following a school board decision driven by declining enrollment and budget constraints. Students from Valley View were consolidated into Barton Creek Elementary as part of a broader effort to improve efficiency and address ongoing financial challenges. The closure marked the end of a long-standing campus that had served generations of families and held a special place in the community.
